Doug Gordon is a wedding and portrait photographer based on Long Island, New York. He was introduced to photography by his father, Ken, and credits him as his greatest influence. At the tender age of only 16 he photographed his first wedding and it was “love at first shoot.†Since then he has photographed literally thousands of weddings and portrait sessions across the United States and around the world. He considers it a tremendous privilege to share in his clients’ wedding day and is particularly honored to be a part of their continuing journey by documenting many of their subsequent milestones, like pregnancy, newborns, and anniversaries. On August 7, 2014 Doug will celebrate his 16th anniversary as an educational speaker in the photography industry. Traveling the world, making new friends, and sharing his skill and love of photography: all of these things continue to bring him as much joy today as they did 16 years ago.
