- Welcome to Nor Cal Labradors. We are nestled in the Redwoods in Humboldt County. We have been breeding Labrador Retrievers for the past 16 years. Our dogs are our family and we enjoy our time spent with them. Over the years we have learned along this journey on how to produce the best quality dog for our clients. Our first Sire Gunner helped to produce many beautiful healthy pups. We have had each of our females from when they were 6 weeks old. Over the years we kept back a few females from Gunners line and now brought in two new sires Summit and Tazer to keep our lines going. Raising puppies is not exactly easy. It takes time and commitment. Every day is spent looking after our parent dogs, cleaning, feeding and making sure all are current on their vaccinations. Then comes the breeding cycle, knowing when the best time to breed and to whom. After that takes place, it's whelping time, caring for the Dam and her new pups.
