- The Northern Missouri Coyote Calling Contest is held the next to the last full weekend in January at the Northwest Missouri States Fairgrounds. A jackpot hunt is held in February, at the R&C Livestock Equipment building, with the date being announced at the January hunt. Entry fees are kept at an affordable price with no limit on how many teams can enter. Ten percent of the main entry fees are donated to a local charity. At least one one rifle is given as a grand prize every year with every participant eligible to win. Door prizes are given to all participants that come from several companies in the hunting industry. Sponsors are promoted through our website and Facebook group.
