- The O'Fallon Garden Club, founded in 2010, is a volunteer organization dedicated to beautifying the city of O'Fallon and encouraging volunteerism and civic pride. Ongoing projects include the development of a parcel of land that was once an unsightly trailer park to what now boasts a lovely butterfly garden, perennial beds, garden plots, and a community garden that in less than three years has grown and donated over 6000 pounds of vegetables to the local food pantry. Volunteers meet twice a week to plant, weed, water, and enjoy the company of fellow gardeners as they beautify the community. In addition to the community garden, club members also design, plant, and tend various gardens around town including the traffic circle, downtown planters, and landscaping in the sports park. Members enjoy monthly programs, focused on local interests presented by experts in their fields.
