- Based in South Africa, Poached Rhino is the only UK registered charity dedicated to the conservation of the world’s rapidly diminishing rhino population. The alarming increase in poaching has seen the situation reach crisis point and the prospect of the extinction of the rhino has become a real possibility. Our aim is to eliminate poaching and protect this gentle giant from human predators who are seeking to profit from its horn. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters we have already been able to participate and provide funding for a number of rhino conservation projects in South Africa. However, we don’t intend to stop there, with your help we could do so much more and make sure that the rhino can roam freely for many generations to come.
