- The Queen's Own Highlanders have their base at Cameron Barracks in Inverness with the Regimental Museum at Fort George in Scotland. Cameron and Seaforth Highlanders make up the qohldrs (short title) and along with the Lovat Scouts, Lord Lovat’s regiment, they make up the Regimental Association family. Seaforth Highlanders were mainly from the north of Scotland Regimental Association area. Hector is the name of our Regimental cap badge and appears on this page. Inverness is the home town of both the Queen's own Highlanders, Seaforth Highlanders and Cameron Highlanders. Fort George is the home of the museum and attracts many visitors each year.
