- Welcome to the official homepage for Gems for Gems! We are a Calgary based Non-Profit who's main goal is to provide scholarships for women in and connected to the Calgary Women's Shelters. It is our belief that to change something, you must first create the opportunity for change i.e. "Nothing changes, if nothing changes". We plan to do this by providing motivated candidates the chance of a lifetime to change their stars and create a life for themselves (often for their children as well) which they otherwise would not have been able to afford.
