- Al Maaref University (MU) is a private non-profit institution located in Beirut, Lebanon. The University stands for high academic standards in higher education. Its degrees are recognized by the Lebanese Ministry of Culture and Higher Education. It strives to continuously provide the latest pedagogical and technology blended developments to provide quality education. The University welcomes students in five faculties. These are the Facutly of Engineering, Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Mass Communication and Fine Arts and the Faculty of Religions and Humanities. This last Faculty includes the Department of Translation and Languages.
