- Crystal Springs Sangha is a Buddhist meditation group in the Soto Zen tradition. The heart of our practice is zazen (sitting meditation) with an emphasis on silent, whole-hearted sitting (shikantaza). The sangha is affiliated with the San Francisco Zen Center and Russian River Zendo, and it serves the San Francisco Bay Area’s Peninsula region. Our members come from San Mateo, Belmont, Burlingame, Pacifica, and Daly City. We meet weekly on Thursday evenings.
