LSCBs have been established by the government to ensure that all organisations providing services for children work together effectively to safeguard children and promote their welfare. Safeguarding children is everyone's responsibility and the purpose of these webpages is to encourage the widest possible participation in the work of the Local Safeguarding Children Board.
