- In 1931 Direktor Bror Banck took delivery of Elsa. The boat had been designed on the 11 of June 1930 by the famous designer Ruben Ostlund. The well known yachtbuilder Carl Froberg used only the best Honduras Mahagony available at the time which counts for her excellent condition to this day. Elsa is 7.50 long and 1.79 wide and weighs just a ton. Originally she had a Penta A-4 racer of aprox. 28 hp. wich gave her a top speed of just under 13 knots. Coincidentally the same horsepower is installed today. This time a 3-cilinder Kubota with very low engine hours. On Frobergs’list she is number 60. The next year Godsagere M. Hensmar received Grisslan from Carl Frobergs’yard in Lidingo (Stockholm) as number 64 on his list. This time the boat had been designed by probably the most famous of all the Swedish yacht designers of the time; Carl Gustaf Pettersson. His date on the stamp of his drawings is 14 September 1931.
