- Martin Kelner is a journalist, author, podcaster and radio presenter. He was born in Manchester. He grew up in Prestwich and went to school at Stand Grammar School in Whitefield. He studied English literature at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. He worked as a journalist in London and Bristol, before moving north to Sheffield to work on Radio Hallam in 1976. He had a late-night weekly show in 1996 on BBC Thames Valley FM, which became Radio Oxford. He has also presented shows on Pennine Radio, Radio 2 (early mornings and weekend lunchtimes), Five Live, BBC Radio Leeds and Radio Aire.
