- Bordentown, NJ – The OTUSA U13B Titans Red defeated Washington United Elite in the State Cup final 1-0 to win the NJYS President’s Cup! It was a physical, back and forth battle until midway in the first half when Washington was awarded a PK and narrowly missed wide. Momentum shifted a few minutes later when Carlos Ramos won a 50/50 ball deep in the attacking 3rd and launched a shot over the out stretched hand of the Washington goali...e to put the Titans Red up 1-0. The Ocean defense was HUGE in the 2nd half as Washington tried to attack in numbers, but was turned away by a determined defense that refused to lose. Every Titan had a positive impact on the game as our aggressive, physical play was too much for Washington overcome. Titans Red will move onto the USYS Region I Championship in Virginia next June.
