- The title says it all - these are mainly photos I have taken in and around Gateshead in the North-East of England. My main area of study is church history - so there are plenty of pictures of churches, but there are also panoramic views, bridges across the Tyne, local works of art etc. It's mainly Gateshead, but not entirely - there are some shots across the river in Newcastle, together with others from Northumberland and County Durham. I've also included some scans of old maps and engravings of the region.
