Today the Chapter has more than 1500 members from a mixture of industries including: finance, IT, telecommunications, consulting and pharmaceutical. Approximately 40% of Australian PMI's members are PMPs. PMI is strongly supported by a majority of companies in Australia and internationally. Sydney PMI Chapter is currently the largest Australian chapter with over 1550 members. The Sydney Chapter conducts regular chapter meetings, education and certification courses and runs an annual conference in an effort to further the profession of Project Management within NSW and Australia.
