- Quantum Psychology is a class of science created and developed by Eddie Oshins in the mid-1970's. The Quantum Psychology Project originated with Eddie Oshins' reconciliation of arguments in the psychological literature concerning the nature of schizophrenia as a logical phenomenon. Eddie Oshins was the first to bring Zadeh's 'fuzzy sets,' Spencer Brown's 'laws of form,' and Von Neumann & Birkhoffs 'quantum logic' together with the 'double-bind mechanism' of Bateson, Jackson, Haley, and Weakland, and the principles of Von Domarus and of Arieti, in order to provide a unified formal scheme for the characterization of schizophrenic thought. As an alternative to the distributive law of classical logics, Eddie Oshins introduced a Principle of Metalogical Ambiguity of complementary contexts to characterize second order change in brief therapy.h
