At the time when educating women was not much favored in the society, the founder established the institution with the noble purpose of educating them. His ardent desire was to provide modern education to women in the background of the rich Indian culture. Noble thought , perseverance, God's grace and public support helped the founder to further develop the institution. Gaining a good reputation as a safe place for girls , the institution grew further. The institution which began in a thatched building with a handful of girls in 1951,has a flowing population of nearly 4,000.
